Last week the results of the Second Regional Open Competition for Young Art took place, sponsored by the youth culture and art club PRORVIS!, together with the District Administration of the City of Khimki and the Basketball Club Khimki.

For the second consecutive time, BC Khimki actively took part in the organization of all sporting and artistic events programmed by the KMKT Prorvis! The most prestigious basketball team for the Moscow Region organized and sponsored the event for Khimki’s youth, and on this occasion, awarded the winners and participants of the Second Regional Open Competition for Young Art, during a record participation of young and talented poets, writers, journalists, painters, photographers, and singers from 18 cities from all over Russia.

Moreover, this year in the list of nominations there appeared: “My City, My Team!” winning over everyone including the judges, and voting it the best fan’s anthem.

The honorary awards ceremony took place in the Youth Information Center’s main hall, administered by the Department of Youth Initiatives. The winners were awarded diplomas, valuable prizes and gifts from BC Khimki and Khimki’s Urban District Administration

The literary circle, from the City of Sergiev Pasad’s, “Winter Sun” was given mention for their participation. And for all those participants who could not make it to the awards ceremony from Samara, Volgograd, Kuznetsk, Novotroitsk, Ulyanovsk, Serpukhov, Engels, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Tagandorg, Barnaul, Nizhegorodsk Region and Tversk, awards and diplomas will be sent to each destination.

A total of more than 250 works (poetry, prose, painting, photography) and 25 songs were judged by the jury during the competition, and this is only the start. Next year the competition will break new records and the art world will discover new names
