Dear Mr. Vassilakopoulos!

At present the situation around Russian player PAVEL GROMYKO who has a valid contract with BC KHIMKI has become scandalous, only to be artificially complicated by the press, which is full of comments attributing to the said player the status of CRVENA ZVEZDA player. As this status has nothing to do with law, we’re determined to tell you the whole truth.

15 octoberSergey Krasnikov will play in Surgut

The BC Khimki forward, the club veteran Sergey Krasnikov will play in Universitet-Yougra Surgut on loan for the season 2007/2008. The Universitet head coach Sergey Olkhov said that he relied on Sergey. BC Khimki wishes our player good luck!

7 octoberRC. B Division. Khimki-2 – BC Ryazan

Khimki-2 started the championat by two great victories. The opponent was the team from Ryazan. The first match was ended with the result — 69-58 (21-14, 18-13, 18-19, 12-12). Top scorers: Nikitchenko (21), Sayapin (19), Mozgov (11+10 rebounds).
In the second match the victory of Khimki was sparkling — 70-45 (11-13, 20-7, 20-14, 19-11). Top scorers: Novikov (16), Sayapin (14), Mozgov (12).

7 octoberRC-Higher League A. Planeta-Universitet – BC Lobnya

The BC Khimki farm-club BC Lobnya won away from home – in Ukhta — 87-76 (15-26, 25-16, 26-18, 21-16). In the second match the Moscow Region players yielded — 75-92 (19-19, 22-24, 20-25, 14-24). After six rounds BC Lobnya placed fifth in the table of results. Next games Moscow Region club will play on 9-10 of October in Kirov against Akademia-Globus.

4 octoberLast test match

The first home match of the season and the last in the midseason BC Khimki played against The Euroleague participant the Polish team Prokom Trefl. The Moscow Region team dictated the game and won - 94-73 (23-23, 28-13, 21-20, 22-17). The Russian Championship for BC Khimki will start in Novosibirsk, on 8th of October

Vladimir Kondrashin and Alexander Belov are the great persons in basketball world. And to win the Cup of their memory is prestigious. The BC Khimki opponents were Spartak Spb, Zalgiris Kaunas, Prokom Sopot. In the final match Khimki beat Zalgiris — 92-68 (21-16, 26-15, 16-25, 29-12).
