In the offseason the squad has suffered several significant changes. BC Khimki was headed by famous Greek coach, former EuroLeague champ Geogrios Bartzokas (2013, Olympiacos Piraeus, Greece), who formed his own staff. One of the most significant signings was the addition of Serbian star in Stefan Markovic (ex – Zenit St Petersburg). Tyler Honeycutt, one of the most athletic players in Europe, came back to Khimki after successful season in Turkish powerhouse Anadolu Efes.
Adriatic League MVP and former Crvena Zvezda Belgrade leader Charles Jenkins as well as the best rebounder in Chinese League in Malcolm Thomas also joined the team. The club signed contracts with American forwards Anthony Gill (ex – Yesilgiresun Belediye, Turkey) and James Anderson (ex – Darussafaka, Turkey). Lokomotiv-Kuban ex-captain in Andrey Zubkov signed with the club on a two-year deal. Sergey Monya, Egor Vyaltsev, Ruslan Pateev, Dmitry Sokolov and Vyacheslav Zaytsev extended their deals, as well as... the best Russian player so far and BC Khimki leader Alexey Shved!
