The first medal winners were defined during the second game of the last round in the final stage of the Sixth DYBL Championship. CSKA Moscow, who in the last minutes of the game against Dynamo, beat them in the Moscow Derby: 70-68 (27-22, 12-19, 12-18, 19-9).

During the game, the yellow-n-blue fans held up a colorful banner, declaring: “Khimki’s might is evident.” The basketball players indeed did not let down their fans, and in the first seconds of the match Khimki took the lead winning a period: 8-0, leaving their opponent floored. CSKAs players tried to close the gap, but were unable to do so.

In the last match of the third day of the final stage of the DYBL Championshp, Khimki faced off against Ural Great from Perm. While the first three quarters of the match were in the hands of the Moscow Region, a battle did ensue in the last quarter, which despite losing, did not inflict any threat to Khimki’s authoritative victory: 75-59 (17-15, 18-10, 22-11, 18-23).
