Regular games with BC Khimki youth and junior teams participation finished. Our guys spent many games in PBL Youth Championship, EYBL Championship and Russian Championship Final.

The Directorate of VTB United League has made a decision on the venue for the «Final four» of this season. At a meeting of the Council of the League it was officially announced that the finals will be held on April 22-23, 2011 in Kazan, at the home arena of the Russian club UNICS – the «Basket-hall».

BC Khimki forward Sergey Monya was named the most valuable player (MVP) of the BEKO PBL All-Star Game, held in Nizhniy Novgorod on Saturday, March 26.

The final rosters of the two teams that will participate in All-Star BEKO PBL game were determined. Sergey Monya, Keith Langford, Kresimir Loncar and Vitaly Fridzon will represent BC Khimki.

At the All-Star BEKO PBL game web-site the fans voting ended. According to its results starting line-ups of two teams have been defined. Sergey Monya and Keith Langford were included to the line-ups of the All-Star teams.

21 marchYouth Championship. Keeping on being in the lead

Following the first-team BC Khimki youth squad celebrated double success in the Moscow derby: in the basketball center of Moscow Region the yellow-blue in the next round of the championship BEKO PBL confidently beat visitors from Lyubertsy.

The second semi-final stage of the Junior League championship finished in Kazan. BC Khimki players scored five victories in all five games. Our youths entered the Final Eight, where they will continue to fight for medals.

16 marchRimas Kurtinaitis is a new BC Khimki head coach

BC Khimki and a well-known Lithuanian specialist Rimas Kurtinaitis signed an agreement to the end of the 2010/11 season, with a possible prolongation for another year. The new coach will join the team in Tallinn, where the yellow-blue will go on Tuesday. The interim head coach Oleg Meleschenko has left the club.

15 marchA final flight to Tallinn

On Tuesday evening the BC Khimki delegation arrived in Tallinn, where tomorrow our team will play the last VTB United Cup group B game with Estonian Kalev/Cramo. The beginning of the meeting is at 19.45 Moscow time.
