The 33-years BC Khimki player of attack line Nikita Morgunov, the European champion-2007 became a player of “Lokomotiv” Rostov. BC Khimki has a running contract with him, but as the General Director Victor Bychkov said, because of big competition on this position, Nikita had no much playing time and we decided to let him go”.
— Morgunov is very experienced man and he shouldn’t seat on the bench. I am sure he will become the leader of “Lokomotiv”. He is a great player and eminent person. Last season he helped coaches and players to find the balance among experience and youth. We thank Nikita kindly and wish him success in new club.
