25 decemberMikhail Soloviev – the head coach of Russian National Junior team

The coach of BC Khimki youth team Mikhail Soloviev is appointed to the position of head coach of Russian National team U18, which will take part in European Championship in France since 23rd of July till 2nd of August.
As a player Soloviev won medals of Russian Championship, played for National team on the European Championship -2003. Since 2000 he has defended the colors of BC Khimki. After the ending of career of player he stayed in club on the position of coach. Our congratulations to Mikhail!

21 decemberJerome Moiso left BC Khimki

The contract with Moiso was canceled.The General Director of BC Khimki Victor Bychkov said, that didn’t justified hopes of club leaders. In addition, Moiso felt uncomfortable in Khimki.
BC Khimki and center Jerome Moiso by mutual agreement made a decision to cancel a contract.

The match of Eurocup BC Khimki — Besiktas became the first for Sergio Scariolo as a head coach. The press-conference of coaches arroused a great interest. The head coach of Besiktas refused to come to press-conference, but journalists wanted to know the first commentaries of Sergio Scariolo.

8 decemberSergio Scariolo became the BC Khimki head coach

BC Khimki Moscow Region has named Sergio Scariolo as its head coach through the end of the 2010-11 season. Scariolo takes over for Kestutis Kemzura, who was released last week. The veteran coach arrives from Unicaja of the Spanish League, where he spent five seasons before leaving this summer.

BC Khimki and Kestutis Kemzura by mutual agreement made a decision to cancel a contract. Oleg Meleschenko will be acting head coach in next match of Russian Championship against CSKA. On Thursday Meleschenko headed the practice, before which Kemzura said good bye to team.
