CSKA Moscow signs shooting guard Fridzon 14  june  2013

On the heels of his best Euroleague season to date, Vitaly Fridzon chose to switch Russian teams on Thursday and signed a multi-year deal with CSKA Moscow. Fridzon (1.95 meters, 27 years old) arrives from BC Khimki Moscow Region, where he has played for the last nine seasons.
He helped Khimki lift the 2011-12 Eurocup trophy and won the Russian Cup in 2008 and the VTB League in 2011. Fridzon has also played three Euroleague seasons with Khimki and helped the club reach the Top 16 in 2009-10 and again last season. He averaged 11.4 points on 43.2% three-point shooting, 2.2 assists and a steal in 24 Euroleague games last season. Fridzon is also a regular member of the Russian national team, which he helped win respective bronze medals at EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania and the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England.
