Spartak Saint Petersburg completes roster for 2010/11 27  september  2010

Spartak Saint Petersburg completed its roster for the upcoming season with four new players. The team officially announced signing of big guys Pero Antic (210-F-82, agency: Interperformances) and Aleksander Bashminov (213-C-78), forward Nikola Dragovic (206-F-87) and point guard Alexandr Korchagin (187-G-88).
Pero Antic is well known face in Russia as he played for Lokomotiv Rostov na Donu. He had 9.8 ppg and 4.4 rpg for them in 2008/09. Last season, Antic also started there averaging 11.1 ppg and 5.5 rpg for 8 games in Russia. They parted ways in December and Antic moved to his former team Lukoil Akademik. He helped the Bulgarian powerhouse to defend the NBL title.
Aleksander Bashminov arrives to Spartak from Triumph, where he had limited playing time last season. Bashminov played for Ural Great and CSKA Moscow in the past and has six championship titles in his pocket. He also has experience from Samara and Greek PAOK. Bashminov played for the Russian NT from 1999 to 2004.
Nikola Dragovic returns to Europe, after he graduated at the UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles) few months ago. He posted averages of 12 points and 4.4 rebounds. Dragovic has represented the Serbian national teams at the junior levels, having won four gold medals at the European Championships: in 2006 and 07 at the U-20 level, in 2005 at the under-18 level and in 2003 at the cadet level.
Alexandr Korchagin is back to Spartak after two years, which he spent with Lokomotiv Sibirtelekom and Novosibirsk.
Pero Antic, Aleksander Bashminov and Alexandr Korchagin all signed one-year deals with the club, while Dragovic penned a two-year agreement.
