Khimki adds Thomas to their roster, ex Jilin NE T 20  july  2017

BC Khimki Moscow Region (VTB) added to their roster 29-year old American forward Malcolm Thomas (206-102kg-88, college: San Diego State, agency: GFSG). He played last season at Jilin Northeast Tigers in Chinese CBA league. In 37 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 16.4rpg, 3.9apg, 1.5spg and 1.6bpg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Honorable Mention.
The previous (2016) summer Thomas was tested by Meralco Bolts (PBA) in Filipino league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Thomas was voted USBasket.com All-D-League Forward of the Year back in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Thomas' pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. Thomas has played previously professionally in Israel (Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv), Korea, Puerto Rico (Piratas), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz and Phi.76ers) and NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and Los Angeles D-Fenders).
He attended San Diego State until 2011 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
