Khimki loses top scorer Shved for one month 25  november  2018

EuroLeague
Khimki Moscow Region suffered a big injury blow on Saturday, learning that it will be without services of its leader and this season’s most productive player Alexey Shved.
This past week Shved earned back-to-back MVP of the Round performances in a span of just 48 hours, and led Khimki to a pair of important victories, but also injured his left pinkie finger during Round 9 road win against Zalgiris Kaunas. Shved finished the game, but the tests back in Moscow revealed a fracture in his finger. The club announced on Saturday afternoon that star player is expected to be sidelined for a month. Khimki opened this season with 3-6 record, but Shved has been off to a stellar start, averaging league-leading 25.3 points per game. He also ranks second in the EuroLeague with 7.4 assists and third with 1.8 steals per contest, while leading the competition with an average performance index rating of 25.9 per game. Last season, Shved set a single-season record with 740 points scored, and 107 three-pointers made. He was the EuroLeague Alphonso Fort Top Scorer trophy winner, and Shved also earned his first All-EuroLeague Second Team honors last season.
