The last season was rather successful for Krasniye Krilya. The team won its first trophy ever, coming strong in the Russian Cup. In their debut season in the VTB United League club did nice too. They won the qualifiers and nearly made the playoffs in the championship.
The head coach of the team from Samara who was a well-known playmaker Sergey Bazarevich told us what to expect of Krasniye Krilya in the upcoming season. Also he spoke about new players and ensured the team will fight in every single game.
— People say we lacked stable performance last season, — he said. — But only teams like CSKA and other ones with a really big budget can stay competitive all season long. But we can fight for a win in every single game. We'll see if we can stay strong. The goal is simple: we got to show everything we can in each match.
