POST-GAME

Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:

“Obviously, we needed to play much better, if we wanted to win CSKA over here. First of all, there were some circumstances in this game, since Hunter went out and they played with forwards. We needed in our execution to hit from inside to outside; something that we didn't make. Our execution in offense was really bad and wherever you don't execute well against CSKA and wherever you are not patient, always they hit on transition. They have the first offense in the EuroLeague; they play this up-tempo game perfectly. So, we needed to be more patient and share the ball more; and we didn't. That's why we accepted 19 points and with this number you cannot win CSKA over here. I don't know about our energy; right now there are a lot of games for all the teams. A lot of teams have problems. It still hurts us that we don't have Robinson, so we have a lot of problems on rebounding. We tried to cover this [gap] with forwards as centers but for me today's game wasn't good at all. It was about execution and following the game plan. We played individually; we played without patient and deserved to lose”.
