Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:

“Both teams are not ready. There is no ready team at this period, especially those with national team players. For us, Andrey Zubkov and Alexey Shved had only one practice with the team yesterday. Everyone understands that it's very difficult to play as a team at this period. Also, we still don't have Malcolm Thomas, who is out and Thomas Robinson, who will come next week. We have a lot of work to do, to play better, to play as a team. We have to learn each other how to play together as a team. Overall, I'm positive, because we have potential. In today's game we had something like 20 rebounds more than Panathinaikos. Obviously, this decided the final result; we won the game because of this. Also, we minimized our turnovers in the second half as in the first one we had a lot of turnovers. Panathinaikos shot some very difficult three-pointers at the end of the game with Denmon and Singleton. We managed to win the game with Jenkins free throws in the end. Congratulations to the team. As I said, it's too early in the season; we have a lot of work to do”.
