POST-GAME QUOTES

Sergei Bazarevich, PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban head coach:

"Congratulations to Khimki on the win. The game might not have always been that smart, but it was hard fought. It was probably fun to watch in terms of competitiveness. At the end, we had chances to win, but, unfortunately, we didn't take advantage and turned the ball over twice. We battled and most of what we had planned worked. We'll prepare for the next game".

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

"We didn't think it would be easy and it wasn't so. The game was very intense, though we didn't always play with full concentration. We basically controlled the pace of the game, but then we lost control over a two-minute stretch. First of all, I'm happy that we won. It's good that we got lucky at the end. We won't be able to prepare any surprises for the next game because there just isn't time. We need to execute much better in all the areas where we failed today. I think we played at 60% of our ability".
