School of Olympic reserve

School of Olympic Reserve was opened by the decision of Moscow Region Governor Boris Gromov in September 2006. The founder is Moscow Region Sports Committee, and the School of Olympic Reserve director is Vladimir Aratov.

The school involves 50 people: during 2 years and 10 months students should study for a speciality “Physical education” to acquire the qualification of a sports trainer. In June 2010 first graduates left school. 11 young sportsmen of 1989-1991 years of birth successfully passed degree examination and received their diplomas.

The experienced and qualified personnel work in school according to the program, endorsed by Tatyana Mazurantova – the head of educational department. The teachers became very close for students, who live in the hostel. Teachers help them do their homework, give pieces of advice, support children during tournaments and watch over their health.

The staff of School of Olympic Reserve try to diversify students’ leisure: the guys are involved in theatrical performances, contests, games. The work programme combines holding of public events with active recreation – picnics in summer and skiing in winter. Not only students take part in these events but also adults, and personnel as well.

Sports department, headed by deputy director for sports activities Elena Sapegina, organizes classes so that the training process takes place as efficiently as possible.

Over four years of work our students have won a lot of prizes, awards and titles in tournaments and competitions.
