Anthony Randolph (15/07/1989, Würzburg, Germany) will be a Real Madrid player next season. The Whites have strengthened their squad on the inside with the capture of the enormously talented and technically impressive power forward. He was dazzling in the last Euro League campaign, leading Lokomotiv Kuban to their first Final Four appearance with 14 points and 6 rebounds per game. Standing at 2.11m tall, he is incredibly quick and agile for a man of his stature, and his stand-out characteristics are his offensive versatility, ability on the rebound and all-round intimidation.

Born in the German city of Würzburg, before growing up in the United States, Randolph is a born basketball player. He's left-handed and can play as either a 4 or a 5. He is capable of scoring 42 points in the NBA Summer League, notching 24 points and 16 rebounds in a match for the Golden State Warriors or recording 43 points in a Euro League clash with Lokomotiv. The American comes to Madrid well adapted to the European game after spending two years with the Russian team, before his six campaigns in the NBA (Warriors, Knicks, Timberwolves and Nuggets), where he played 250 matches, averaging 7.1 points and 4.3 rebounds.

The man who was 14th pick at the 2008 NBA draft has this season averaged 14.5 points, 6 rebounds and has a PIR of 14.9 in the 23 games he has played in the Euro League. He was also the top points scorer, leader on offensive rebounds and the MVP in the title play-offs where he led his team against Barcelona, playing an impressive fourth match in the Palau that will live long in the memory: 28 points, 10 of them in extra-time, 7 rebounds and a PIR of 28. In the semi-finals against CSKA Moscow, he set a Final Four record for offensive rebounds with eight. He comes to the nine-time European champions at 27 years of age.
