Pablo Laso analysed Real Madrid's clash with Khimki on Wednesday night, after a game that saw the Russians come away with victory. Speaking in the Barclaycard Center press room, he said: "It was a very even, close-fought match in many respects. If we win the four games we have left, we'll be in the Top 16. I'm in no doubt whatsoever that if we can play to this level, then we have no reason to fear anyone".

"We dominated on rebounds and steals, we had fewer turnovers and more assists than them, but our shooting percentages were not good and that's something that upset our flow. In defence we responded well, but not in offence. They stopped us from counter-attacking with a lot of fouls. We didn't enjoy smooth attacks and we lacked ball circulation to open up shots. We were too direct in offence".

Refereeing
"My players were complaining a lot about it, even after the match. During the game I try to focus my energies on coaching my team. I want to watch the match before saying anything, but it's unusual for a technical foul to be given against the bench in the final quarter for jumping up off the bench. That's what the referee told me. That's something that happens on every court and in every game if the scoreboard is tight".
