Panathinaikos makes Wright move in backcourt 21  february  2014

Greek champion Panathinaikos Athens strengthened its backcourt by signing point guard Zach Wright for the remainder of the season. Wright (1.88 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Brose Baskets Bamberg and returns to the Euroleague action after making his debut in the regular season with 6.6 points, 3.4 assists and 3.2 rebounds.
He last played for Bamberg in the Eurocup, where he averaged 9.8 points, 4.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds in the Last 32 phase. Known for his all-round game and solid defense, Wright is eligible to play from Top 16 Round 8 and will try to help his new team in the race to the playoffs. The Greens sit second with a 4-3 record in Group E. Wright returns to Greece after a previous stint with Rethymno Aegean. He has also suited up for Spartak St. Petersburg in Russia, Cibona Zagreb in Croatia, Braunschweig in Germany and Limoges CSP, Le Mans Sarthe Basket and Elan Chalon in France. He won the Croatian League title in 2012. Last summer, Wright was a starting point guard for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team at the Eurobasket 2013.
