Unicaja adds size with Perovic 20  august  2012

As announced by the club late on Sunday, Unicaja Malaga landed big man Kosta Perovic for the upcoming season. Perovic (2.17 meters, 27 years old) arrives from FC Barcelona Regal where he played the last two campaigns.
Last season, Perovic averaged 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 20 Turkish Airlines Euroleague appearances. Perovic started his career in 1999 with Beopetrol Belgrade of his native Serbia, where he stayed until 2002. After that he moved to Partizan Belgrade, where he played until 2007, making his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut and winning five Serbian League titles in the process. In 2006-07 he also won the Adriatic League. That same year he moved to the NBA to play with the Golden State Warriors, but midway through the season he was sent to the D-League with the Bakersfield Jam, and the next campaign he was back in Europe to play with Valencia Basket, where he won the Eurocup title in 2010. With Barcelona he also won the 2011 and 2012 Spanish League titles plus the 2010-11 Spanish King's Cup. In 2009 he won a silver medal with the Serbian national team at the Poland EuroBasket.
