PBL Team outscore PBL All-Stars in Nizhniy Novgorod as the event became the real show in the country. The city enjoyed the game of the stars as well as three-pointer Spalding contest and Slam Dunks.
The game started with PBL taking the lead and later in the period Zhukanenko and Eugeny Voronov (193-G-86) nailed threes for 30:22. In the second frame the picture did not change and after 42-31 in it PBL local stars enjoyed 72:53 halftime advantage. BEKO PBL Stars however were too far to give up and erupted with 20-2 in the start of the third quarter. They won the period 42-24 to trail 95:96 before the final stanza. The Russian players managed to prove their superiority in the game and won the last quarter. They produced 42-25 in it to finish with 141-120 win.
Vitaly Fridzon (195-G-85) top-scored for the winners with 27 points and Andrey Vorontsevich (204-C-87) netted 26. Eugeny Voronov posted 21, Sasha Kaun (211-C-85) collected 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Sergey Monya (203-F-83) had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Anton Ponkrashov (200-G-86, agency: RIZO) followed them with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Maciej Lampe (210-C-85) answered with 26 points in the losing effort and Keith Langford (193-G/F-83, college: Kansas) scored 25. Gerald Green (202-G/F-86, agency: Lanshire Group) delivered 24, whilst Jamont Gordon (193-G/F-87, college: Mississippi St.) netted 23. Sergey Monya was named MVP of the game, while Gerald Green won Slam Dunk Contest. Trajan Langdon (192-G-76, agency: Alti Sport, college: Duke) became the winner of the Spalding three-point contest.
