Bojan Bogdanovic (202-G/F-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for KK Cibona VIP Zagreb, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (33 points, three rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out U.Olimpija (#7, 3-1) 84-81. Cibona maintains the 6th position in Adriatic League 1C_A. Cibona is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Bogdanovic had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at Cibona and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Bojan Bogdanovic has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg. Bogdanovic is in league's top in and averages impressive 65.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 31-year old American Corsley Edwards (206-C/F-79, agency: Impact Basketball) of Cedevita Zagreb. Edwards had a very good evening with 27 points and 3 rebounds. Bad luck as Cedevita lost that game 72-80 to the higher-ranked Partizan (#5, 2-2). Cedevita is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 3-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Edwards is a newcomer at Cedevita, but is already the team's top player. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#5). He also registered 5.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was swingman Marko Car (188-G/F-85) of KK Zadar (#14). Car showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Zadar, leading his team to a 73-60 easy win against the higher-ranked CEZ Nymburk (#9, 3-1). Zadar can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-3 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Car he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Car has individually a great season in Adriatic League. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.0ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 6.3rpg (9th best).
