Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:

“Since they changed coaches and after their first loss in the local league, they won two times by one point, I mean Baskonia beat Panathinaikos at home and defeated Unicaja in Malaga. These games were tight. Of course, now Baskonia has better psychology since the arrival of a new coach. There is no doubt, they have quality, potential and a good roster. They are going to play with much confidence. Baskonia is a typical Spanish team; the rhythm is always important for them. Controlling the rhythm, you need to take the rebounds and minimize turnovers. We follow our philosophy, whatever happens, winning or losing, we need to forget it in one day and prepare for the next game. I expect to play hard; we need to play good defense, to play as a team because this game, as every EuroLeague game, will be very difficult and very important also”.

Thomas Robinson, BC Khimki center:

“In Madrid we stayed focused on the road for 40 minutes, that was the key for the game. After Real, Baskonia is another Spanish team we are going to face. We need to try and do our best because we can’t afford losing two games in a row”.
