Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:
“Milan is a team with a very deep roster, full of ball-handlers who mostly decide the game. Their offense is about 90 percent pick-and-roll sets. That means we need to defend well on pick-and-roll situations, the different kinds they use. We need to get ready for this. Of course, we have to be very solid and consistent defensively, not allowing them to play the game they want. It's not going to be easy. I think, right now, that they deserve better spot in the standings than they have. Also, they have talent in Gudaitis and Tarczewski, who are athletic big men. But what I have seen until now is that they depend a lot on the creation and scoring ability of their ball-handlers”.
Sergey Monya, BC Khimki forward:
“Milan is a strong team that plays especially well at home. They have many big guys who play well on pick-and-rolls and we have to stop them; that's our main task. Also, we have to play solid defense as only in this way will we have chances to win. We had a preseason game with Milan, but both teams suffered from a lack of main players. We have scored only one away win, over Real Madrid, so far and now we need to take another. We are preparing for a tough battle. Hopefully, we'll be able to succeed”.
