BC Khimki left to Slovenia, first preseason camp22 august 2017

Today in the afternoon BC Khimki left to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia to hold first preseason training camp on physical condition. The camp will last to September 3.


BC Khimki strength and conditioning coach mr. Georgios Vavetsis commented on the camp:

“The first priority for our players is to understand our philosophy. We can show them some new things with special equipment. We'll try to do it as fast as possible. We'll practice a lot at basketball court (inside trainings) and weight lifting room”.

BC Khimki roster for first camp: Tyler Honeycutt, Stefan Markovic, Ruslan Pateev, Vyacheslav Zaytsev, Egor Vyaltsev, Dmitry Sokolov, Sergey Monya, Anthony Gill, James Anderson, Charles Jenkins, Malcolm Thomas, Ivan Viktorov, Maxim Tkachenko, Vladislav Staratelev, Sergey Klyuev, Ilya Karpenkov, Timofey Yakushin.

Alexey Shved, Andrey Zubkov and Marko Todorovic are preparing for EuroBasket with their national teams (Russia and Montenergo, respectively) at the moment.

Upon returning from Slovenia BC Khimki will have practices at the Basketball center of Moscow region (September 3 to 6), then goes to friendly games to Lithuania and Italy. Also, international tournament in Zadar (Croatia) and Gomelsky Cup (Moscow) are scheduled.
