EXCHANGE OF OPINIONS

Rimas Kurtinaitis:

— Real Madrid plays confidently and smart, and now they will be stronger than at our first game. An important factor is the comeback of Sergio Llull, a crucial player for Madrid. The team will play at home that subconsciously is a huge margin. Moreover few teams may boast about beating Real at their court. During the last three games they defeated CB Murcia, Bilbao Basket and Basquet Manresa in the ACB League so they are in good shape. For sure our opponent will try to gain revenge for their loss in Khimki but we will fight until the end. We know our real power and strength, guys feel okay so we will make an effort to play as best as we can. As for me I’m glad to return to Madrid where I spent two perfect seasons and became Spanish champion.

James Augustine:

— It’s going to be a very difficult game for us. Everyone knows Real is a very good team, they played very well in Khimki but we were better. We have to play close to our first match to be able to beat them again. I suppose we are capable of doing this. We must play good defense and perform well in the offense. At the same time you can’t focus on one player, like Rudy Fernandez. They have many good players: Mirotic, Carroll, Llull. I think Real is enjoying a really good season, they are better than in previous years, with great coach and talented guys. We’ll try to show the best as we can.
