BC Khimki General Manager Victor Bychkov and head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis commented upon the draw ceremony.

Victor Bychkov:

— We know that Euroleague keeps best of the best and we should be happy with the draw. Top-clubs will visit Khimki that will cause great interest among our fans. Speaking more specifically by names, Real and Panathinaikos are probably the best that we have in European club basketball. Turkish teams are very strong too, and Fenerbahce constitutes a menace. I am sure we will have exciting matches, in which Khimki will have the opportunity to prove itself. I hope for the remaining period of preparation before the start of the Euroleague, we will be able to compose a team with a capital letter that will be able to solve the most serious problems.

Rimas Kurtinaitis:

— It’s hard to say forthwith. For sure, we got the teams with great names and it’s very good for our fans. As for Khimki, we have battle-worthy team for next season with brilliant scorers. Moreover we are about not only to play but to win as well. I am a maximalist, and I believe that there are no impossible tasks. In addition, it is often that the club has a big name, but we do not know about the situation inside. For example, Panathinaikos has changed coach and we still do not know in what condition the Greeks will come to the start of a new season.
