In Khimki Basketball Center the Russia Cadet team played two test matches. In this team, headed by BC Khimki coaches Aleksey Vadeev and Mikhail Komissarov, are included 8 Khimki young players. In the context of preparation for the Europe Championship in Greece, Russian team beated the team of Moscow twice – 80-55 and 81-59.

After the final buzzer the head coach Aleksey VADEEV summed up:

— The second round of preparation passed in Khimki. Before that we were at Kislovodsk and worked at physical conditions. Now we are oriented to technique and tactics. Games against Moscow team are the second and the third matches in this cycle. Khimki players have the overwhelming majority in the team.

The third round will pass in the period of 3-18 of July. However on Monday we go to Kiev for playing against local teams. Also, we are waiting for The Alexander Petrenko Pro Memoria Tournament, which will pass in BC Khimki Center from 6 to10 of July. Its results will allow us to sum up the preparation of the team. Now each opponent is very important for us, there is a lack of practice.

I want to thank the management of BC Khimki and personally general manager Victor Bychkov, President Aleksey Bodunkov, The Moscow Region Government and Russian Basketball Federation for the attention and rendering assistance. In conclusion, I want to add: we will go to the European Championships with exalted aims.
