POST-GAME

Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:

“It was a very good game for the fans, in a very good atmosphere. First of all, I would like to thank our fans who came here. I saw a lot of them on the stands, so I would like to dedicate this win victory to them because they travelled here to support us. Secondly, I would like to mention that for us it was a good reaction, especially after a bad game that we had a few days ago with VEF Riga. This is VTB League and you can win everywhere, you can lose everywhere. It's a problem for us because participating in the EuroLeague we are spending a lot of energy and mental effort, basically. So, we need to adjust to VTB games. Sometimes, I think we have a lack of motivation in some games, that's why we struggle. Wherever we are concentrated and focused, like today, we can be a very good team. Although we came here to play without all our front court, I mean Sokolov, Robinson and Thomas were out today, so we had to play with small lineups. All the players, Gill, Pateev, Monya, Zubkov and others played this role with a very good way. Congratulations to the players with a very solid performance and good win. Now we'll focus on our next game with Panathinaikos Athens that will be played next Friday”.
