Georgios Bartzokas, BC Khimki head coach:

“First of all, I would like to thank you for the invitation to this tournament. For us it's a great opportunity to check and evaluate our progress since we started our preseason. Obviously, it was a very competitive game that finished in the overtime. Both teams wanted to win. Winning is always something that you have to keep. It was strange that we had a fighting spirit and took 15 more rebounds than our opponent that really showed our desire to get the ball. On the other hand, we turned the ball over more than 20 times. Also we had only nine assists. Along with 20 turnovers it's a big success for us. It was just because we were very consistent on rebounding and took many possessions from there. Congratulations to our players. Everyone understand and knows that teams are not basically ready at this period because we don't have very important players in Shved and Zubkov; also Todorovic is a few days with us. We just need to work and “buy” time”.
