POST-GAME

Dusko Ivanovic, BC Khimki head coach:

“Very bad game. We started a little bit scared and then solved clear situation hardly. I think the pressure on the first game is one of the reasons because we didn’t play good. We didn’t play with energy. But this is the start of the season and it’s clear that we must improve”.

Janis Gailitis, VEF head coach:

“It was very tough game for both teams. As Khimki as VEF changed big part of the team and it feels like they need a little bit time to get better. We found many holes in their defense and because of that were able to come to the last minutes and win the game at the end”.
