POST-GAME QUOTES

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

“We are very happy to have won a very tough road game, since we knew that PAOK has many experienced players, the majority of them in their 30’s and they are a very disciplined team, playing very solidly this season. We knew they have defeated Panathinaikos in the Greek League and we know they are a very tough team to beat. Our team did not play a bad game, but this was not the best we can play. We started well, but made some turnovers in the second quarter, the game was tied, and then again, when we had almost won at the end, our players lost control and we almost lost the game. A road win is very important, but does not secure anything yet, we need at least a couple more victories before we start thinking about the future”.
