Russian Championship. Victory in the club's Birthday 5 january 2008

The day of match against “Ural-Great' (Perm) BC Khimki had 11th birthday. And the result was determined in first half of game: 88-70 (25-20, 25-12, 23-20, 15-20). Next match in Russian Championship Khimki will play in Saint Petersburg next Sunday.

The game was opened by lazer show, the performance of cheerleaders and others holiday surprises. In the roster of BC Khimki there were changes: the center Macej Lampe returned to his team and the guard Teemu Rannikko was injured.

— It was the first match after holidays. And I am satisfied with the result. We controlled all the game. In my team I want to mark Savkov, he scored his shoots and worked in the defense. Of course, I am happy to see Lampe on the court. He is hard-working. And wants to return the shape after the injury as soon as possible.
