Before the match against UNICS, the BC Khimki head coach Kestutis Kemzura said that he wanted to add a new page to history – to win for the first time in regular season Kazan. The Moscow Region club achieved a success — 78-75 (17-19, 20-10, 21-14, 20-32). Next match BC Khimki will play in Vladivostok against Spartak-Primorie on 26th of October.

At the start players of both teams missed a lot and fans should wait for first points some minutes. In the first period the initiative was gained by the UNICS. And second period was started by three successful attacks of Lampe. This part of time BC Khimki won 14-4. Lampe and Veremeenko ruled under the backboards. BC Khimki build the lead of 12 points. Before the last period the lead increased the gap to 17 points. Kazan plunged into the pursuit. And UNICS succeeded to narrow the lead, but at the end of the match BC Khimki showed the skills and tactically beat the opponent.
