Baskonia keeps Best Defender Hanga 23 july 2017

Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz penned reigning EuroLeague Best Defender Adam Hanga to a contract through the end of the 2019-20 season, the club announced Sunday.
Hanga (2.01 meters, 28 years old) averaged 10.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 33 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season, at the end of which he was chosen as EuroLeague Best Defender by the competition's head coaches. In three EuroLeague seasons and 75 career EuroLeague games with Baskonia, Hanga has accumulated 654 points, 316 rebounds and 91 steals. He started his career with Albacomp-UPC Szekesfehervar of his native Hungary and also played for Basquet Manresa of Spain and Sidigas Avellino of Italy. Hanga helped Baskonia reach the EuroLeague Final Four in 2016 and is a member of the Hungarian national team.
