Yevgeny Voronov was born on 7 May 1986 in the Stavropol region. Last season played he played at UNICS and averaged 5.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists with an average efficiency rating of 5.6. Throughout his career he has also played for CSKA Moscow, Triumph and Lokomotiv-Kuban.
Yevgeny Voronov won a bronze medal at the London Olympics in 2012 and was also a VTB United League champion in 2012 and 2013, he has also been a member of the All-Star Game in Sochi.
