Ivan Nelyubov joins Loko 6  august  2017

Let’s meet another newcomer in Loko family. Center Ivan Nelyubov is going to play for our club at least for one season. He used to play for such teams as CSKA, VEF, Nizhny Novgorod, and Lietkabelis. Our new big man spent the last season in Parma Perm.
Nelyubov played for CSKA, Nizhny Novgorod, and Parma in Russia. Ivan is also well-known for his foreign career in VEF Latvia, Tartu Estonia, Lietkabelis Lithuania, and Neptunas Lithuania. Last season, Nelyubov played for Parma in all its 24 games and averaged 8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists per 16 minutes on the court.

In the 2015/16 season, Ivan Nelyubov won the Russia Cup with Parma.

— Ivan is a high-quality Russian center. He should boost Lokomotiv’s playing under the rim. He showed good results last season in Parma. And now we expect progress in our club and an ability to compete for the time on the court from him.

— Ivan spent a nice season in Parma where he played on two positions. He is an experienced center who will be very useful in the paint. We are glad to get him. He will have chances to play. We’ll try to unfold his potential.
