David Blatt visited the “Expo-basket” festival in Moscow and he remembered the old times with the Russian national team while speaking about his future which after all may include the NBA.
As “Sovetsky Sports” reports Blatt, who last year didn’t want to talk a lot on the matter when asked about his future, he revealed that he still aims for a return to the States.
While he will remain in Darussafaka this year and play in the Eurocup, Blatt admitted: “I had offers from many teams, including clubs from Russia. But my dream is to return to the NBA. This summer there were no open spots, but everything can change in a year. Still when you come to a new team, become part of a big project, it’s wrong to throw out everything and just go to the US. It’s not fair. I decided that I would stay in Darussafaka. What will happen next, we will see”.
