Unicaja adds Golubovic to their roster 30  june  2014

Unicaja Malaga (Liga Endesa) added to their roster 28-year old Montenegrin ex-international center Vladimir Golubovic (213-101kg-86, agency: Beo Basket). He is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. Golubovic played this season at TED Kolejliler in Turkish TBL league.
In 29 games he recorded 13.1ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.3apg previous season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Honorable Mention and to the All-Star Game. He also played 20 games in Eurocup where he averaged impressive 19.3ppg, 10.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3spg.
Golubovic was also voted Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Center of the Year in 2014.
The previous (12-13) season Golubovic played at CAI Zaragoza. In 8 Liga Endesa games he averaged 7.6ppg and 5.8rpg that season. He also played at Antalya Buyuksehir Belediye (TB2L) in Turkish league that season. In 7 games he averaged remarkable 21.9ppg, 12.1rpg and 1.3apg. The other team Golubovic played that season for was Al Ahli (D1) in UAE league. In 8 games he averaged 7.5ppg and 5.8rpg.
In 2011-12 season he played at Laboral Kutxa. In 10 Liga Endesa games he averaged just 2.2ppg and 1.8rpg. Golubovic also played 3 games in Euroleague where he averaged only 2.3ppg and 4.3rpg. Another team he played that season for was Azovmash (Superleague) in Ukraine. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and Golubovic had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 8 Superleague games he averaged 7.9ppg and 4.1rpg. He also played 1 game in Eurocup where he had only 2 points and 8 rebounds. Golubovic also played 5 games in VTB United League where he averaged 7.4ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.0bpg. His team made it to the Spanish ACB Semifinals in 2013. He represented Montenegro at the Qualifications to European Championships 2011 four years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 0.7ppg, 1.3rpg.
Golubovic is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Italy, Slovenia (Un.Olimpija), Serbia (Vojvodina Srbijagas).
