30 juneKhimki adds Euroleague champ and MVP Rice

Khimki Moscow Region left no doubt of its intention to fight for another Eurocup title on Monday, when it announced the addition of combo guard Tyrese Rice, the bwin MVP of the 2014 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, to its roster for the next three seasons. Rice (1.85 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv after one glorious season in which he led the team on repeated, late-season comebacks to win the Turkish Airlines Euroleague trophy as underdogs.

JDA Dijon continued building roster for its Eurocup debut season, signing forward Kris Joseph for next season on Monday.

STB Le Havre (ProA) added to their roster 28-year old power forward Jonathan Aka (203-86). He played last season at Denain ASC Voltaire (ProB). In 20 games he had 4.7ppg and 4.4rpg.

Unicaja Malaga (Liga Endesa) added to their roster 28-year old Montenegrin ex-international center Vladimir Golubovic (213-101kg-86, agency: Beo Basket). He is a dual citizen owning also Serbian passport. Golubovic played this season at TED Kolejliler in Turkish TBL league.

Unics Kazan (VTB) confirmed in their roster 31-year old ex-international guard Sergey Bykov (190-95kg-83). In 9 VTB United League games he recorded 8.2ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.0apg and 1.7spg last season. Bykov also played at Lokomotiv that season. In 10 games he averaged 5.7ppg, 1.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.0spg last season. He also played 9 games in VTB United League where he averaged 6.7ppg, 2.4rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg.

30 juneLokomotiv Kuban hands on to Zubkov

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar re-signed one of its most promising young players, Andrey Zubkov, on his birthday to a new three-year deal over the weekend. Zubkov (23 years old, 2.05 meters), played 21 Turkish Airlines Euroleague games last season with Loko averaging 3.7 points and 1.0 rebounds in 8 minutes per appearance. He had his best game against CSKA Moscow in January with 11 points and 4 rebounds. Zubkov grew up as a player in Loko and has always played there. He started in 2009-10 with the second team and was promoted in 2011-12, on his way to winning the Eurocup title in 2013. He was also a member of the Russian U20 national team.
