Budivelnik brings back veteran Salenga 7  november  2013

Budivelnik Kiev improved its roster by inking veteran forward Dainius Salenga for the remainder of the season, the club announced Wednesday. Salenga (1.97 meters, 36 years old) arrives from Tonybet Prienu, where he averaged 14.7 points, 4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals in 6 Lithuanian League games this season.
Salenga already played for Budivelnik last season, helping it win the Ukrainian League and reach the Eurocup semifinals. He averaged 7.1 points and 14 Eurocup games last season. Salenga has also played for Rudupis, Zalgiris Kaunas, Sakalai Vilnius and Farmeka Vilnius in his native Lithuania, as well as for Girona in Spain. Salenga has also been a member of the Lithuanian national team, to which he helped win a gold medal at EuroBasket 2003. He won six Lithuanian League, four Baltic League and three Lithuanian Cup titles with Zalgiris in his nine seasons with the team, as well as lifting the FIBA EuroCup trophy with Girona in 2007. Budivelnik has also sent center Kostiantyn Anikienko on loan to Dnipro Azot.
