Olin Edirne won over Triumph in their last game of EuroChallenge campaign. Even with 89:82 victory the Turkish team stopped their participation.
Filip Videnov (196-F/G-80, agency: Interperformances, college: W.Kentucky) gave the hosts their first lead and Wesley Wilkinson (207-F-84, college: Nebraska) brought 9:4. The Russian team however woke up later in the quarter and Sergey Karasev (200-F-93) and McKee closed the period at 21:20. Being tied at 32:32 midway through the second frame, Olin Edirne grabbed 47:38 at the end of the half. Filip Videnov later scored for 61:54, but Triumph replied with a 10-0 run. The teams stayed close until the last minute of the final period when Chris Wright (185-G-89, college: Georgetown) needed some important baskets to win the game with his side.
Wesley Wilkinson paced all the winners with 20 points and Mustafa Abi (197-G-79) netted 17. Chris Wright collected 16 points and 10 boards, while Filip Videnov also scored 16. Sergey Karasev ended up with 20 points in defeat and Davon Jefferson (204-F-86, college: USC) as well as Kyle Landry (207-C/F-86, college: N.Arizona) notched 10 each.
