Unics Kazan set a Euroleague record for the fewest points allowed in one half of a regular season game when it stopped Asseco Prokom Gdynia on 11 in the first half of Thursday's game. The dominant defensive presence of head coach Evgeny Pashutin’s side also tied a record for fewest points allowed in the second quarter with 5. The previous record for fewest points allowed in one half of a regular season game was 14, set by CSKA Moscow when it limited Krka Novo Mesto to that amount in the second half of an 89-35 victory in November 2003. The record for fewest points allowed in a half of any Euroleague game remains 9, set by Olympiacos against Montepaschi Siena in the opening game of the Playoffs last season.

|14 december||BC KHIMKI lands veteran forward Gelabale|
BC Khimki strengthened its lineup by signing Mickael Gelabale for the remainder of the season. Gelabale (2.01 meters, 28 years old) has yet to play this season after helping the French national team to the silver medal at EuroBasket 2011. He signed with Belgian champion Belgacom Spirou over the summer, but the deal was terminated due to medical reasons.

A well-known big man making his mark with a Eurocup newcomer has taken the Week 5 MVP honor as Jeremiah Massey put Lokomotiv-Kuban on the brink of Last 16 qualification with a huge home win. Massey dominated inside as Lokomotiv walloped visiting Gran Canaria 2014 by 73-51 on Tuesday to take over first place in Group E.

Mickael Gelabale (201-F-83, agency: Court Side) (201-F-83) will continue his career in Russia. The French forward penned a deal for rest of the season. It will be official after the medical tests. Mickael Gelabale supposed to play for Charleroi this season, but he did not appear in any official game for the club. They parted ways in October. Last season Gelabale played for ASVEL. He had 14.2 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 2.1 apg in 36 ProA games. He also added 12.2 ppg, 5.7 rpg and 2.8 apg for 6 games in EuroCup. In 2010, Mickael Gelabale helped Cholet to win the ProA title. In the past, he played for Real Madrid, LA D-Fenders and Seattle Supersonics. With the Seattle team he had about 4.5 ppg and 2 rpg for 109 NBA games in two seasons. Mickael Gelabale helped French NT to win the Silver at the latest EuroBasket in Lithuania. He had 7.3 ppg and 1.8 rpg for 9 games at this event.
