Thank you, Dusko!29 june 2017

BC Khimki and Dusko Ivanovic part ways because of the expiration of the contract between club and coach. We sincerely thank Dusko for his work and wish him all the best in his future career.

Ivanovic joined BC Khimki in March 2016, replacing Rimas Kurtinaitis as coach. In the EuroLeague Montenegrin specialist was able to take two wins and lost two games, which did not allow BC Khimki to reach the play-offs. In the VTB United League Ivanovic reached the semifinals but lost to CSKA 0-3. In the past offseason, Dusko became one of the initiators of Slava Zaytsev's return to the team, who confidently spent last season and became one of his main discoveries. But – most importantly – under the guidance of Ivanovic BC Khimki managed to achieve its main goal – got the ticket to the EuroLeague 2017/2018, although did not overcome the barrier of the EuroCup 1/4 finals. BC Khimki entered the EuroLeague as through the VTB United League as its finalist.

Players, coaches, doctors, masseurs and all the club's staff will remember Ivanovic as a demanding and responsible specialist, who pays much attention to every detail. Pre-season preparations under his guidance is remembered by many players, and laid the foundation to successful pass the whole season smoothly, without serious injuries.

Thank you for this year and a half, Dusko! Good luck in the future! See you on the basketball court!
