PRE-GAME QUOTES

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

"We had good chances in the last two games with Olympiacos and CSKA but in some moments we did some wrong things that decided the final outcome. However, we should draw proper conclusions and learn from these mistakes. Real Madrid is a serious team even if they don’t have stability in their game. Now we are playing at home and we need this win very much. It’s very important to do all the things in a right way, as we prepared cause vs. Olympiacos we suffered a lack of aggression and energy".

Petteri Koponen, BC Khimki guard:

"We lost two games in a row and the atmosphere is not as good as after the wins. So now, we are preparing for a very strong team in Real Madrid. It’s gonna be a really tough game. Our group is probably the hardest ever in the Euroleague as all the teams are tough and competitive. However, we have already played with Real twice this season and beat them so I don’t see any reasons why we can’t outscore them for the third time on Thursday. We need to prepare for one hundred percent and stay focused. I don’t think our opponent will change a lot of things because we know each other. It will be a big game for us. We’ll try to bounce back and take a win".
