PRE-GAME QUOTES

Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

"Fenerbahce Istanbul has good players in the roster. They changed seven players in the offseason and now not everything goes well for them. Nonetheless, from game to game they improve and get stronger. Individually they have a very strong squad but probably sometimes suffer the lack of team work. They miss Ricky Hickman, who is still injured and now Bobby Dixon has more time on the court. The game with Real Madrid has shown how the Turkish team plays at home. We are ready for this matchup and want to give a battle in Istanbul. It will be pleasant to meet Zeljko Obradovic, who was my coach in Real Madrid in the mid-nineties. We have a good relationship and much in common as basketball united us for life".

Paul Davis, BC Khimki center:

"Every team is tough and it doesn't matter if we play at home or away. For us it's a big game to pick up on the road. If you win your home games and at least half of the road ones you have a big opportunity. We want to feel good going to our next game after Fenerbahce with Real Madrid, away too. We played well these last weeks so we want to continue to build it up. So we go to Istanbul for a win. Our opponent changed some players and maybe they are looking as a different team than they were last year but I know that it takes some time to get into your flow. I'm sure they maybe think they can do better than they have and will try to show it against us".
