BC Khimki adds Paul Davis28 may 2012

BC Khimki signed a two-year deal with American center Paul Davis (27, 211), who played the last two years in Spanish team of Cajasol.

Victor Bychkov, BC Khimki General Manager:

— Our club carries out active transfer policy. We have our priorities and we have understood that, despite some strong individual performers in BC Khimki, at the same time positions of fourth and fifth numbers are problematic. Frequently we gave our opponents way under the hoop, on rebounding. Painstaking work has been carried, we looked through a lot of nominations and today we are pleased to announce that Paul Davis has joined our club. Now Paul is in the best basketball age, in one's time he was drafted by LA Clippers, spent enough games in the NBA, and the last two seasons he played in the Spanish club Cajasol. According to the BC Khimki coaching staff opinion, Davis is the very player we need now. We hope that, having signed a deal with Davis, we will strengthen our front line on the threshold of the start in the Euroleague.
